Board of Directors
A new recruit in politics, Barbara Pisani is a young and committed business woman, concerned by the day-to-day realities of Montrealers. Since her adolescence, she has been active as a volunteer in community organizations. In addition to dedicating herself to the business she founded, she has also collaborated in international humanitarian aid projects.
Barbara Pisani is strongly concerned by the situation families find themselves in; where people have to reconcile, among other things; work, family life, and sometimes have to care for their aging parents.
In the spring of 2010, she joined the ranks of Union Montréal and decided to run for mayor of Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles. Her purpose was to contribute to the betterment of the quality of life of constituents of the borough where she grew up.
In October 2010, the members of the Union Montréal Board of Directors named Barbara Pisani president of the Party. In doing so, Union Montréal gained an excellent ambassador.
“Political involvement allows me to express my opinions, exchange ideas and collaborate with elected members and the members of our Party so that Montréal remains a most welcoming and safe Metropolis, I love Montréal! I want to be a part of its evolution!”
- Barbara Pisani, President of Union Montréal
